Hello all, like the title says, new to this forum, but not new to blazers. I drove a 92 four door s-10 blazer for years ( I bought it new). I loved that vehicle. But time was not its friend and it had to be put down. For awhile, I drove a GMC Sierra, but the gas mileage was killing me. I bought a 97 four door that my step-daughter drove (why dont women respect cars like guys do?). sold my truck and rescued the 97 from a slow and painful death of neglect. I cleaned it up and am in the process of making some things right again, like ball joints, tune up, new tires and in general attention that it sorely needed. I will post some pictures when I can Thanks and take care. Dave

welcome from oklahoma! LAKE VILLA! sir im heading there next week on part of my 2200 mile road trip.. be driving my blazer there and staying a few days. Know any of the Crightons? my uncle Jim was the manager of Neilsens for around 25 years. i havnet been there in many years!

 

Thanks guys. Chevytruckdood, sorry, I dont know any of the Crightons. I do live about a half mile south of Neilsens tho, cool place.If you havent been here in 25 yrs or so, you wont recognize the place, its built up like you wont bwlieve, not all for the better , but not all bad. its only been like 5-8 years really since ive been up that way. be on the look out for my ugly blazer lol.
