New guy on the Southern Oregon coast
Howdy all. I'm down around Coos Bay, Oregon. Retired, so I have more time than money or brains. I'm not ALL thumbs but I do have more than my fair share, which is a challenge when trying to fix things. Add to that I'm from the old school. I eventually sold my timing light, oscilloscope and dwell meter at a yard sale to some kid who didn't know what they were but was going to use them in a Star Wars costume or something. LOL!
Just bought a one owner 1993 s10 Blazer 4X4 with the Tahoe trim. Has a Vortech motor and towing package. Seems to run pretty good but needs some TLC. And a good cleaning.
First off, the back tailgate and window wouldn't open. I found some advice here on how to get it open so I figured I better sign up so I can get more advice after I "fix" things.
Hope I can keep up with the younguns!

Hi cafeboy.
Another newbie from Oregon here.
It is nice to see some other Oregonians on here. I am sure I will find many others as I start cruising the forums.
I get up around Coos Bay often, so maybe we can see about meeting up.
Kev: Good luck with your project. I look forward to hearing about your progress.
