Hi Blazer Fans ! I just bought a 2000 Blazer LS from the original owner, garaged all its life, 4.3, 5 speed, roll up windows and extremely low mileage of 384687 , (that's three hundred eighty four thousand ) original engine / drive train, newer clutch. Runs and drives perfect . I bought it to tow a boat up and down the entire East coast.
I'm looking forward to being part of this Blazer community .

 

That's a nice blazer! I sold a zr2 s10 with 875xxxish on it original body,engine and transmission. Met a guy with an original s10 with 920xxx on it... great rides as long as you take care of them.

Do/did you use any particular type of oil or other fluids ?
Are there any weak areas or common problems I should know about as a 1st time S10 Blazer owner ?

Just regular maintenance, OEM parts, and all the love you got did the trick for me lol.
