Greetings from the middle of Minnesota. I recently made a deal on an '81 K5.
I came upon the K5 at a friend's and fell in love, as I had wanted one since I was a kid. It just so happened I had a car that was his grandfather's and was considering selling it. We worked out a nice deal between us. When I get it within the month or so, it will have a lot of new drive train, suspension, interior, and other goodies on it. It's pushed by a 454 with a 350 Turbo and currently sits on a 6" lift with four new BFG KO2, 35's. There's no rust but it will still need a little body work and better paint. So, I feel like Ralphie waiting to open his new Daisy Red Rider. I have a bunch to learn but that's the fun part too. The pic is with the old tires.
