Hey folks - just found out about this site and got joined up. Below is my mostly unrestored 72 K5 Highlander - daily driven, dirty engine, dirty frame, some missing paint on the inside of the doors and tops of rockers where the doors shut, etc - more wear than it looks like, but I recently restored the interior and didn't repaint anything because its a driver and I don't want it to be any nicer or I won't drive it in the rain or muddy places like I do now. I sure love it. Has the rare AMFM radio, Tach, Positraction, and Highlander pkg C stuff, plus dealer accessory GM CB and GM 8 Track player. 4" lift was added by a PO. Sitting on stock GM 8" steel wheels (solid - not rallys) w/ correct hubcaps on new BFG 33's.

Want to add the Hickey Sidewinder Winch I bought but haven't figured out how to do that since the one I bought didn't come with any mounting brackets. Also debating adding the GM spotlight and chrome Hickey Spare tire carrier that came off Vic's 72 SEMA show truck. I think adding these historical accessories that came off his truck would be a great way to memorialize Vic's contribution to the Blazer hobby. More posts to come as I get into these projects

My 1972 Medium Blue Highlander. Mostly un-restored daily driver
