new member w/"92" S-10 Blazer 4x4 Tahoe LT
Hows everyone? Been checking out y'alls forum for awhile and turns out I'm pretty impressed with most of the discussions. Some real truck guys that are very that have "hands on experience" with the vehicles they love. I have a fairly sound "92" 4x4 4.3 tbi that I've been driving daily for several years.I love the little truck.Do alot of mild offroading and its pretty versital. The drivetrain has 335,000 miles on it,but was taken care of from the start.I have done alot of work fixing the minor issues that come with a high milage vehicle.Still have alot to do.
The engine runs like a sowing machine(kinda sounds like one to)but have rebuilt short block on the stand waiting for the eventual telltell sign from the original powerplant.A set of "96" kidney bean style heads are completely reworked and waiting also. The original runs strong for a v-6,with all the miles it has,but several oil leaks and the occasional peckin, tapping and cluncking say its fairly loose.
Anyway guys,I will post w/pictures when I tear into the engine replacement job,and share some of the "homemade" mods that I've come up with. Thanks for letting me share.

Welcome to the forum , good to see another first gen . Yea I love my blazer to , and my wifes , it amazes me where these things will go . I won first place at the mud bogs when my blazer was stock , and there were modified trucks that didn't even make it . Unfortunately my blazer is so modded now that I'm not even sure its a blazer anymore LOL . Have fun and if you get a chance check out my build thread , its kinda cool .
