I apologize for my first post, I hadn't fully read the new member forum rules. My name is Andrew from Southeast Missouri and I've had a 2000 s-10 Blazer for a little over a year now. Have had a few issues with it on and off, biggest of all had to have the transmission rebuilt and 3 months later the torque converter went bad and had to have it rebuilt again. Thankfully I've got a diagnostic computer so when my check engine light came on I was able to discover the problem quick enough to prevent major damage and thanks for the warranty the shop provides it didn't cost me anything for the second rebuild. I've been fortunate enough to live in a town near a Pick & Pull type of junk yard and have found most of the parts I've needed to work on my Blazer. That along with a father that has always been a shade tree mechanic, I've been able to save quite a bit of money on labor costs. On a separate note I purchased the Chilton's Manual for the 1995-2005 s-10 Blazer if anyone needs any information from it I'd be happy to share. Upgraded my stock headlights with a set of LED Halo's from Amazon for a fraction of what AutoZone wanted for just the bulbs.

Hey Andrew, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about the transmission troubles with your Blazer, but it sounds like you've been resourceful in fixing it up yourself, especially with the help of your dad and the Chilton's manual. Those junkyards are lifesavers.

Thanks for the welcome. I would have to say I have been very fortunate in the adventure and aggravation with my Blazer..
