Thumbs up This site is very helpful

I'm a owner of a 98 Chevy Blazer LS 2wd. This Blazer has been around me for 14 years going on 15. My dad had it for 2 years and i've had it since then. This truck has been through alot, been from Chicago to Dallas and back 5 times. New motor, transmission, rear axle, fuel pump, battery, brakes, rotors, front hubs, shocks(which I just replaced factory shocks 2 years ago), tires, front wiper motor, water pump, thermostat, heck its practically a brand new truck. I use it for work as a security vehicle, use it for sidework hauling lumber and other things, use it when i go to the lake, hunting or camping, its also good to haul the kids around in also, when i say kids I mean my son and daughters and also my dogs. The body doesn't have one bit of rust on it, got some scratches and dings. Anyways I had a problem with my drivers side door not wanting to close. So I jumped on google and typed in the problem and treads from blazerforum.com popped up. I read through a few, went and did what it said and I got the door closed, now I just need to replace the hinge pins. I was gonna buy a new door latch assembly but this saved me money. This is why I became a member, there are so many helpful tips and stuff on this site. People don't make other people look like they are stupid either when they have a problem.

Welcome to the forum!

Glad you found the help you needed here. I joined for a very similar reason. I had wanted a 4x4, and loved the S series trucks for years. I decided to buy a Blazer and joined the forum at the same time. Now 5 years later we're both still going strong, thanks in large part to the community here. Almost every mod I've done on my truck and pretty much everything I've fixed was learned through this forum and the awesome members that share here.

Right on! I love my Blazer, it is my second car i've owned since I started driving. I have some more stuff I wanna do to it, bug deflector, ventshades, running boards so its easier for the kids to get in, even though its not a 4x4 its still pretty high up, I wanna get a bull bar for the front and might put camo wrap along the bottom of the body and the ventshades and bug deflector. One thing I really need is the inner driver side door panel for power windows, their kinda pricy on ebay.
