Default smoke coming from heater switches

Can anyone tell me how to remove the dashboard in a 1996 blazer, i cant seem to find the sqrews or clips holding it on. I need to access the area behind the heater controls, i have smoke coming out and i want to prevent a wire fire. Thank you.

first welcome, second- there are 2 screws in the guage cluster area, then i believe that the rest just snaps out. you should be able to see your screws holding the switchs on after popping off the front face trim. try running a search to find all the info you need. there is alot of helpfull info in here.
