Hi, this is my first post so i wont go on about anything thats wrong with my Blazer just yet. Its actually a '96 Jimmy, But its all the same.
We bought a different '96 jimmy for my girlfriend, and almost immediatly had problems with it, so i found another one, a friend of ours had for $200.
After I had to Take out and replace: The Gas tank, Fuel pump, Front & Rear Bumpers, Tailgate, Grill, Head lights, Computer, Wire harness, Ignition, Speakers, and a few other things the original Jimmy needed..My Amazingly Indecisive girl wanted me to switch out the interior...the full interior..
And i like sex so...
I took out and re-installed: All seats, all inside panels, both sets of carpets (which got sticky cuz it was like 102 degrees outside) headliner and pretty much everything but the dash...
So, now we have a shell of a jimmy in our back yard for 3 months..
I start tinkering w/ it..eventually get it back together..And my Camero breaks down.. So i sold it and started driving this Jimmy.
I have pix of all the work i have put into this in my albums if you want to see it.
But the point of all this is to say Hi, as a new member, and I do Love my Jimmy alot. Comming from sports cars my whole life its great to be able to fit almost anything/Anyone in my vehicle now..
And maybe help with anything i can, as i have some good knowledge of the car now..especially with interiors and gas tanks.( It took me 4 fuel pumps to get 1 that worked, and dropin a gas tank 4 times isnt fun)
Thanx for reading my Post!
