Regal???

The Malibu is all stock original. It's been in the family since Day 1. Grandfather > Uncle > Father > Me. It is starting to show it's age. A bit of surface rust on the rear quarters, passenger side door is got some rust on bottom, bumpers are starting to show rust. The interior is showing it's 21 years too. Everything is fading and begining to crack.

So....I guess I have yet to start making replacements at this point. The maintenance is now longer working quite the way it's supposed to.

My father was always all about keeping it bone stock and ORIGINAL, but since now that he isn't around to disappoint, I can begin to look at making upgrades/improvements that will make it a nicer car.
Now I can look at painting it (my father always appreciated it still had the original paint) but keeping it the same color, maybe replacing parts that were original to Malibus and Montes from the era, but better options than came on this base model Malibu.

It's only got a 229 V6 in it.....

Welcome! I bet you will find yourself liking the Blazer. And I wouldn't worry about the mileage. Many of us are well over 100k.
