actually a twin turbo set-up isnt more effcient. they actually move less air on the top end then say a big single turbo set-up- but they spool much faster than the single turbocharger and are better for a daily driver, but if you do a correctley sized single turbo it can be just as responsive and still hold full boost to redline.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but...

If you use a sequential twin turbo setup (like at least some of the Toyota Supra's) you can make boost quickly and a large amount of it...

The smaller turbo spools off the exhaust, and then the small one spools up the big turbo a lot faster...

Heres a little bit more to add to what everyones said already, I didnt read it anywhere. Turbos make peak power lower and stay realtively close to peack power for the whole RPM range.Example you may be fully spooled around 3 grand, depending on the setup, and you may be makeing 400 hp and only gain 50 hp for the rest of the 3grand to 6grand redline. These are just examples numbers I pulled out of nowhere.

Witha supercharger you keep gaining power through the whole RPM band and reach the peak power right before you are ready to shift. So until the turbos get spooled a supercharger will win but after the turbos are spooled a supercharger would get beat.

If I were you I would go with a turbo. STS makes a nice kit, although they dont make it for the Blazer [sm=smiley19.gif]

STS, that's the remote mount one, right?

They say the universal kit can be fitted on an '85 S10, so I'm sure they can get it to work for the Blazer, lol
