Ok so my brother and I are looking for trails between Albany and NYC, we were thinking of just going up the catskill creek while its as low as it is, I have a 99 blazer completely stock until next next week when i get 31' MT MTZ's and he has a k1500 with 33' MT MTZ's. So we are wondering if we can just take on the creek or is there anywhere else to learn around here in the upper hudson vally, we arent talking about full on mudding but trailing.

- Thanks

If you are on facebook check out MUDNY, there has not been much action on the page recently but at least you could go back in the history and find some places to go. You never know, maybe you will be the one to get it back to life. As for me I am down on Long Island so all I got is the beaches to hit up. Good Luck and Safe Wheeling.

Well i got bored of waiting for my tires to come in so i went out and about and went the the Albany county border and made my own trail to a creek, and it was fun, looking forward to going deeper when i have more time though

Please stay on pre-existing trails. It's when people forge their own way that gets areas shut down. I can't tell you how many areas out here were closed because of that. Not to mention the bad name it gives off-roaders.
