Detroit Locker in the rear, Grizzly Locker in the front. I had a Lock-Right in the front of my first K5 about a million years ago and I loved it. It worked great, and I never had a problem with it, even running 36" tires. I had another brand of lunchbox locker in the rear of my '94 K1500 a few years later (EZ-Locker, maybe?), and it didn't hold up as well. It started slipping so badly, I had to have it towed home to the tune of $600. Finally, I had a Spartan lunchbox locker in the Dana 44 I put in the front of my Dakota a while back and never had any problem with that one either. I don't know if they don't last in rear axle applications, or that one was just junk.
Thanks! The bumper is cobbled together from a bunch of crap I had lying around. The center section is a Warn large-frame winch carrier, the ends are cut down from a full-size Chevy bumper and the grille guard, brackets, gussets, etc. are all made from scratch by me.

I'm using an Astro van steering box that I drilled and tapped for hydro-assist. The pump and assist cylinder are from PSC. I built the thing to wheel, and that's what I do with it, lol.
Nice mudding. I'm only mudding with my MTB as motored vehicles off-road are a strict no-no in our country. Only on privat property or designated spots are we allowed to do off-road. Then it's quite rough stuff like moto-cross tracks, quarries and such.

It's actually right behind our house. The wet area gets COMPELTELY flooded when it's the really rainy season, and then other times of the year it's a dust bowl lol.
This was from me hunting last week. No cow elk harvested but still nice to get out! Almost all the other vehicles out there were full sized trucks. With the narrower track width, I was being pushed around in the ruts a bit. But then I actually saw a Prius on the main logging road then a Suzuki Samurai. LOL
Although the tires performed well enough, I'm thinking the next ones will have a bit more aggressive tread.

The little Blazer availed herself very well! The trailer is carrying my game cart that became irrelevant after we got a lot more snow. It is also nice to have if I can get an elk in the back whole instead of having to quarter it in the field.
Always bring a spare tire for your trailer!!
At least I discovered the blowout during daylight hours!
