Have you checked out Goodyear Duratracs? I had them on my Jeep and loved them. We've also installed hundreds of sets at work on our fleet vehicles with zero complaints.
Tom,
I just looked and the Duratracs don't come in 30" only 31" and larger. I'm trying to stay at 30's so that I don't raise my effective gear ratio too much more.
I’ve had the duratracs myself and they were great but are useless with ice i myself am running falken rubitraks and I love them been through mud and 2’ snow during a blizzard. Nothing has slowed them down yet and are decent on ice in 4wd and they are 3peak mountain snowflake rates for winter as well

Thanks guys! Both of these look like great tires.
I figure I have another year to go before I need new tires but I'm glad I asked!
I also had a set of DynaPro MTs on my Dakota and I liked them, too. What I noticed most about them, though, was that they didn't seem to wear at all. I put like 30k miles on them before I sold the truck, and you could hardly even tell they were used.
I'm currently running Toyos on my Blazer (MT) and on my Super Duty (AT), and they're great tires, too. So many choices!
No ice or snow here in Florida lol, but these Hankook's do well on wet roads, and have yet to get bogged down in the mud. They were pretty tame when I first put them on, but I guess my alignment is ever so slightly out, and now at maybe about 60% tread life left they're beginning to cup on the edges and get a little noisy...
I didn't necessarily choose these, they came in on a Jeep at work (salvage yard) and they were the size I was looking for, and was a full matching set of 5 They were practically brand new, the spare had never even touched pavement (and still hasn't lol)
