First Blazer/4x4
I am looking for my first 4x4/blazer.. It will be my daily driver and be sued for light offroading/mudding. (nothign too extreme) i am tight on $ and dont plan to put too much money into it.
I found a 94 blazer tahoe edition, 4x4, 4.3 auto, rear positraction..
Would this be a good starters rig? It has good Goodyear wrangler tires.. How are these for 4x4ing? also, what mods/adjustents/aftermarket parts could i use to make this a little better on the trails and mud? i will be doing mainly gravel pit/mud 4x4ing..
Also, how much do lockers cost, and what exactly is positraction? thanks for the help guys.

are your talking about the full size??? if you are, they're good trucks. i got one as a dd. but mines a 93 with a 350/5.7 motor. i'd try finding one with a bigger motor tho. and a lift and mud tires do a lot of good.
If it is the stock G80 diff, then it is an automatic locker, but a weak one at that. They work fairly well for on road and lite offroad, but will break on you if you wheel hard.
And if it has a 4.3L, then it is an s-series.
