My first time out on the trail was with my old K-5. It was lifted a little with 35 inch tires (fronts were bald, back were about 25 percent) and I went with a couple buddies all in my truck so we were basically alone. I went to Wharton State park in jersey and it's mostly all sand trails. Everything was going well, got through the water and stuff and then when I was just cruising around there was a little mud spot no more than 1 foot square and there was a tiny incline before a corner so I thought nothing of it and began slowing down. I was in 2wd at this point and wasn't even considering going into 4wd, big mistake. I slow down for the turn and the rear just starts sinking. Long story Short, 30 minutes later I have mud up and over my axles. I can't find the pics now since I'm at work but I will post them. First attempt at getting me out saw my whole front bumper go flying off (previous owner welded it on VERY poorly). All in all it was fun as hell though.
