i pretzeled my track bar in the middle of a washout. it took many hours, a high-lift, crawling in the mud, and some pin stripping on my tow rig, and about 2 miles of only left turns to get it back to the trailer.

last year i busted the steering arm off of the knuckle on a dana 44 and had to back the trailer into the woods to get it out of there.



also snapped a driveshaft right in half trying to pull somebody out of a huge hole. had to drive the truck home an hour too.

That is crazy with the drive shaft. How did you drive it home? Was your Blazer FWD for the ride home?

no. i robbed the driveshaft off the other truck that the arm busted off of. had to rig it up though with some washers cause the ujoint wasnt exactly the same size. we took the backroads home.
