What kind of wheeling do you want to do? With the IFS I doubt you will be doing serious rocks so I think you will be fine with either steel or aluminum. You can go to a 17" rim but watch what width you go with if you want to have the tire protect the rim better. As far as tires go, I would go with a 33" tire but I don't know how long the IFS will like them. If I was going to wheel a S Blazer on anything more then light trails I would do a SAS. I have no faith in the IFS after my wife blew a joint to pieces when she got stuck in the snow.
