Blazer Vid

here's a vid showing what it is capable of, and some of it's limitations (ie. the G80 pos)

... don't know how to insert it as a video

Anybody got a video or pics of a stock one wheelin'. I'm really interested in seeing that because I just got one and haven't done anything to it except replace the stock highway 235/70's with some walmart special 235/75 goodyear wrangler AT's. I'm kind of doubting its offroad capabilities whenever it almost got stuck in some mud next to my driveway on the driver side. Kind of debating on whether to drop some cash on an LSD or Locker to even out the slippage.

Yeah, from what I've been reading on them a TrueTrac LSD may be in my future. Gotta start saving now lol. Not that I do any kind of wheelin' but it would be nice to know if I ever do I won't get stuck as easily.

defiant i still went on wet trails, went through mud and puddles up to my hood before in stock all terrains same size as yours. trust me the blazer will do great, you might be in a spot a bit longer, but you can still do it. i do suggest for more aggressive look and stance and performance ill say, get some mud terrains, worth the money and look great.

other then that got aluminum skids and 30"s and my blazer gets muddy and plays on trails lol.

@97OregonBlazer, you running an open diff or do you have a G80? I read somewhere that by lightly applying the brakes with an open diff if you are stuck it will transfer some torque over to the wheel with traction. I do not really believe that it will work with an open diff sounds like what you are supposed to do with a truetrac. Anybody able to validate that this works with an open diff?

i still have an open diff defiant. i plan to get g80 some day but even with my 30'' mud tires, no lift, and no locker i still get around. but like i said i could get even further with a locker i think. theres points that you will get to on the trail where you get stuck spinning one tire and thats the moment where the locker helps.
