Urban Mudding.

So when you are a hard core Urban Wheeler, it becomes a calling, a life style. As with any other life style change, sometimes it requires sacrafice. But, it is a sacrafice I am willing to make.

For lunch today, I opted out of chow, and instead hit the local mud pit. This was a risky move. As with any good wheling trip, it usually involves a drive. Todays trip took me 10 minutes east. I know what you are thinking, "Ten minutes! One way? OMG!" I felt the same way, but after i finished blasting some wicked pits, it was all worth it.

Here is my Urban Play Ground. It was formerly a truck staging area beside a fuel station off the highway. It has been left to rot after a bigger truck stop with real facilites popped up 1/2 a mile up the road. Now it's all mine! best part is, a large number of hobo's congrigate around thi area leading to a rather motley if enthusiastic audience BTW: Please note the Explorer driving away in a panic after seeing me set up to tackle this class IV Urban Off-Road Park...

You can only imagine the stares I got from the detracters of Urban Wheeling while driving home (they wont miss me at work ). But it really brings a smile to my face when I see the supporters, few though they may be, cheering me on! Funny, most of them seem to be in beater hondas and subarus and strangely most are 16-20...

This is the aftermath: Urban Mud Bath.

Keep your 6" SL and 33's! I can get just as trashed as you, and still make it home!

^^ you can also see my new "tail pipe" in this shot.

I'm off to spot another run!

there is also a video of my first run (of 5) but MAN it sucks!

Nice Spot!, I got a similar spot by my GF's but they chain it off for winter. Plus were covered in snow here so nothing too muddy!

See I knew you were gonna say that, so now I'm waiting till I'm back there to see what I have to deal with! I have a feeling that theres big ditches on either side. But I will find something to contribute!
