WOW! Nice vid. They were being quite stupid about that whole recovery anyhow, but... Damn! That strap sure did some damage. I've seen a heavy logging chain snap and take down a few 6" diameter trees. Not pretty, especially when one of them happens to land on you! LMAO...

No I stepped through the damn ice (about waist deep water) and my leg was freezing. I was stuck for about 2 hours cab had water in it again. I called it off I was just glad to be out and my truck still drove

That was an awesome video. It shows both chains and straps can pose a threat but I would much rather get whipped by a strap then get my head chopped off by a chain. Either way I would be severely injured or dead. One of these days I will dish out some money for like a 50,000lb tow strap heh.

oh my god ICP?? you gotta be kidding me insane clown possie.....wow....yeah...I do not clain those people as my fellow michiganders....not to mention a little kid rock just for show! wow.....and that's some bad dammage with the strap....what's why I allways stand waaaaay clear any time tow straps are involved...I am going to make it to the Mounds ORV park this summer...I swear! wanna go tommy?

And yes they will mess up tow hooks. I almost straightened out my tow hook yanking out a stuck Heep. He had a 4" lift and 33" and was burried to the frame in mud.

wow, i see what you mean i just never had to tow that much ever and never messed up a tow hookusinga strap.
