So I've learned finding GMC parts are harder than Chevy parts. I'm also now learning that SLE trim parts are harder to find in the GMC line too

So this is what I need to replace:


Its the driver side bumper end part, but it needs to be the SLE trim style (needs to have the silver trim, or a place to put the trim)

If anyone knows where to get those, or has an extra please let me know. I keep scowering the internet and pick yards with no luck thus far

Buy some spray foam insulation, a metal mesh patch, and some bondo. Fixing it will probably be cheaper and easier than trying to find a replacement.

 

I'd rather not bondo this end cap. It has a few cracks running though it including one through one of the mounting holes so I would rather just start over on it.

As for finding a new one, I'll keep hunting. GMC parts didn't have one in stock at the moment, but I'm on a notification list, so who knows

Parts like that are best found at the good ol local junkyard .. just saying
