Question 97 Blazer front side window help needed

Somebody broke into my 97 S10 Blazer, so I'm replacing the left front door window. Does anyone have any tips or advise? I know the glass goes in thru the top, but I haven't been able to get it positioned into the channel. Do I need to remove the sideview mirror and maybe the trim? I don't want to force it. Then are there any tricks to getting the regulator's rollers onto the window? Someone should put out a video on this. Any help is really appreciated.
