I wondered if something is missing. When I pop the glass from inside or wherever it doesn't pop away from the locking mechanism far enough and by the time I get back there its locked again. Is there a spring or something that should be there? Thanks..

 

Normally pushing against the weatherstrip to close. How does the weather stripping look? This would push it away from the lock.
