aero rockers????
What are those aero rockers and door panels on those Jimmys called? I recently got a dog leg for my blazer off of a junkyard Jimmy and got those door things and like the aero rocker and bottom fender covers
Are you talking about those kits various companies made that flared out around the bottom of the vehicle? I don't know the name of them but you might do a search online for one of the kits. That is, if anyone is still making them. Try aero kit for blazer maybe?
The section that bulges out on rockers and bottom of doors
I call it molding or cladding. The cladding at the rear wheel well towards the bumper is removed with several nuts and bolts. Likely the rocker and door covers are the same.
The rear cladding has 3 - 7 mm screws hiding behind the mudflap, and 4 - 10 mm nuts underneath the rear quarter panel. There is also a bolt near the bumper securing the corner of the cladding to the frame.
So the screws fasten to the exterior face of the cladding whereas the nuts are found on the interior side of the cladding.
