Does anyone have any seat heaters that you can put oon over your cloth seats? If so which brand? So many choices. Also can you put seat covers over them? So you don't see them asmucg and I can protect my seats from getting dirty lol.
Thanks all

So, I bought a set of the aftermarket heated seats on ebay and Im attempting to install. I have the seats out of the truck. they are factory power and leather seats but no seat heaters. I'm having trouble getting the seat cover off because I cant remove the base of the seat. The bolts mounting the base of the seat are actually faced upwards, so the nuts are on the top side of the seat. the back ones are actually in the foam of the seat. Has anyone tried this yet with their blazer? Any tips would help.
UPDATE. I managed to get the seat covers off and it was all down hill from there. I plan to post pics of the install and a little write up when Im done.

You should be able to get the covers off if you remove the seat backs(1 bolt on one side, 2 on the other) and remove the sliders(4 bolts). the drivers seat you will need in the raised position to make it possible to get to all the bolts. once you get the sides pulled up, you can release the little rings that hold the fabric down with a pair of needle nose pliers. twist the opening in them wider and rotate them around until it comes off the wire.

It took some doing but once I got the seat back off the covers came off easy enough. You just have to make sure not to pull the velcro off of the foam. I plan to post a few pics, I didnt have to even fully take the seat back cover off, I was able to slide the heating element up into the seat.

Here's a pic of the bottom and the top half of the seat with the heating elements installed. It also shows the velcro that attaches the seat cover, if you're attempting this just make sure to hold the velcro on both sides, so it doesnt get ripped from the seat foam.

This is a pic showing where I mounted my switch, It seemed like the best spot and pretty easy to keep the wires hidden under the center console.
If anyone has an specific questions or want certain pics let me know. The seats are now both completed and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I dont see why this couldnt be done on cloth seats as well.
