Lightbulb Blazer front end on an 05 Jimmy?

Hello,

Been doing some research and I have found there are no HID's for Jimmys...
So, I would like to use the blazer HIDs, found all over...
I know the bumper, grille, and lights need to be switched,
What else am I missing? mounting the same? is it direct switch?
Please advise

Thanks

You will need to swap the rad support as well, and I'm not sure on the wiring.

DonL,
I thought they were the same rad support for 05 Blazer and 05 Jimmy, LMC Truck has them as the same part number, unless i am mistaken.
what would be different about the wiring?

I could be mistaken, I might be thinking of the older second gens and the newer second gens. I thought the light fixture mounts where different, I might be thinking the difference between the none fog lights and fog lights.

I would wait for someone else to chime in about it, I'm second guessing myself right now lol...

Fairly certain the 98+ Blazers and Jimmys have the same light wiring. The 98-00 Jimmy Envoys and 98-01 Bravadas have the extra fog lights built into the bumper molding.

Everything else sounds like it will switch just fine.

Early second gens had the big square type lights, and the later (98+ maybe?) had the smaller two piece kind, that might be what you're thinking of

Mounting brackets for the bumper are different, But they are bolt on.

The bumpers for the Jimmy/Sonoma/Bravada are 2 pieces.... an inner steel bumper, and a plastic cover that clips to it.

I have fooled around with changing my bumper with an Envoy or Bravada, but haven't committed.

Grab some pics, if you can. I'd like to see what you find out.

For second generation stuff the only time you have to swap the radiator support is if you go from 94-97 to 98 and later body style.
