When I boght my truck my brother in law "Hooked" me up with a new plastic bumper skirt to replace the broken one that was on there. Well the paint shop at the dealler must have just taken it out back and hit it with a can of spray paint. After a week its all starting to chip off (very THIN) I have neverpainted a car.(unless u count my chevette to hide the rust) I need to take the truck in to have some rust spots fixed before winter. Should I wait tell then, of do int myself?

 

Unless you're really good with the right equipment, I'd wait and let them do it all at once if the cost isn't prohibitive.

 

yoh dude, u better wait. u have to paint plastic with a plastic paint. or it'll come off. do it all together. tell them u want that piece painted with a urathane bumper paint. or it'll peel . good luck bubba
