Carbon Fiberized Steel Cowl Induction Hood

Paint is gonna take a lot longer. I'm in the process of masking off for a digital camo design and been working on one fender for almost 2 weeks.

Pint of black, some root beer candy, and some of that fiberglass drywall tape for a mask is all you need. Doesn't look identical but is real close and a good carbon fiber effect.

We did some engine pieces using mesh. black base with some gunmetal and silver paint. Cant find the pics. Looked ok but tacky. no where near the carbon fiber effect. more like a checkered effect. I use 3M di-noc to wrap hoods and roofs, but mainly for interior pieces. Stuff is textured like the real thing but is pricey and is a dry carbon. no gloss. Best thing about di-noc is its almost impossible to screw up. It has air release like most wrap vinyls, so no worrys about bubbles. and any kinks can be taken care of with a little heat. you can roll it up into a ball and straighten it back out with no effect to the material.

Ehh....I dont know about that. I have never heard of the wrap that you are talkin about, so im alittle skeptical.
