I have seen many threads on fixing 60/40 bench seat armrest pads but has anyone successfully fixed the armrest pad of the center floor console. I have searched several junkyards and the ones I find seem to be prone to the same issues. I found some on ebay that appear to be in good shape but as old as they are it is a matter of time before they become afflicted as well. Thanks!

When I got my truck, it already had that problem and the previous owner tried fixing it, so the plastic underneath was already cracked and reglued. I took a piece of the broken plastic off then tried packing the inside with silicone, then reglued everything. It sorrttt of worked, but it didn't actually fix it.
I bought a parts truck that happened to have an armrest that wasn't broken (no, that wasn't the reason i bought the whole truck... haha)
