Hi guys,

I found out that my Blazer is ready for a complete new roof including front window sides and rear of the cabine. My Blazer is from 1978 and the donor I found is from 1986.

My question is; is the body of those 2 Blazers the same? I am thinking to cut the cabine from the '86 and welt it onto the '78. Would this be the same size?

Also, anybody experience with this?

From the bed rails up everything should be nearly identical. I believe the body-to-frame mounting locations changed sometime between those years, but not anything that would impact the roof & top.
