Default roof rack

ok this is probablly the stupidist question in a long time but i want some opininos i have a roof rack and don't want to haul or put anything on it i just want it for looks......will a good quality 2 sided tape hold it on? i really don't want to drill holes and advice???

Ummm....
Yes, good two sided body tape will hold it on. Hell, 3M body tape has held on heavier and more stressed pieces than a "for looks" roof rack before, but why?? If you're going to put it on, why not make sure it's functional to boot? You may even be glad it's there for more than just looks some day and use it. Just a thought..

I dont think I"d use tape... a few good rains or snows (depending where you are) and that stinker will eventually loosen up. God forbid your on a highway with people behind you when it comes flying off. If you put it on right it'll be the best thing. I also am really funny about drilling holes into the body of a vehicle. But something like this I'd look at the safety first. If you really are dead set against the holes, then just leave it off altogether.
