My 1st gen beater toys been primered black (which has faded to grey) for some time. I just want a matte black or black in general. What exactly do i need for a decently low quality paint job? lol. I dont want to rattle can it. I was thinking about getting a spraygun and compressor and buying a can of rustoleum and giving it 2 coats then 1 coat of clear. What all do i need? some paint thinner (2 to 1 ratio??)

Then body isnt going to be the smoothest,i just want it to look somewhat normal from a distance until i want to shell out 1,200 for a decent paint job. I will however sand the body down as much as i can before painting it. What grit sandpaper Will i need to use?

 

Bedline the whole thing if your up to it, im gonna do it eventually. Visor and everything. Dont have to worry about dents or rust then
