column shifter

i wanted to ask anyone if they knew if the end of the shifter screws off or if it ever comes off? or is it just one piece? let me know guys. ty

i think it is just one piece

i know my blazer is 8 years old and the **** at the end does not budge and i hav played around with it

now that i look at it good, it looks like it is a one piece. i guess it screws off from the bottom where the boot is. im trying to see how im going to put a budweiser tap handle in the place of the shifter. i saw it on a s-10 about a month ago and it looked sweeet!! if any one has done this before tell me how you did it? ty
