dash swap
hey guys i have a 95 jimmy 4 door 4x4 and i was curious as to is it possible to do a complete dash swap in my 95 jimmy to the newer 98+ blazer style dash? and how much of a pain will it be for wiring and etc? and switching the door panels to the 98+ blazer is it compatible with my doors?

The dashes bolt up the same the wiring will be different though. You would have to change out the harness which goes under the dash into the engine compartment then to the PCM and fuse block. My brother is also thinking about doing that swap. I myself have a 2000 that I converted from manual to power..... So lets just say I'm good at taking dashes and interiors out of blazers😁 I believe here on the forum someone said the bolt holes for the door panels are different and you would have to drill holes.... Now the question is how bad do you want a 98+ dash and door panels. Good luck with the swap if you decide to do it

I'm not 100% Nages.... I'm assuming there are more electronics in that cluster. If your doing the harness out of the truck or blazer that has the digital cluster it should I would think. I'm sure someone will chim that has more info on the older stuff. I'm sorry that doesn't help ya much. Have you checked s10forum.com about that swap? Hope you find some info. Good luck
