Default Major interior overhaul needed...and an inexperienced owner

I just recently picked up my '94 s10 Blazer 4d 2wd for free. Has a tick over 200k on the odo, but only @8k on the motor...runs like a champ. Paint is dang near perfect, has a couple dents here and there, some of the chrome is slightly dented, but other than that, for free, I can't really complain.....

Except for the interior.

The headliner is shot, needs to be completely replaced.
The carpet is so stained and dirty, it needs replaced.
80% of the center console is missing.
The dash (cracked), front seats, front carpet, headliner, and spare tire cover are all blue, but the back seat, rear carpet, and tailgate carpet are all tan...and the exterior color is green. Not a big fan of this oddball color combo.

I want to replace the headliner and all the carpet with that of the same color, upgrade the seats (newer/more comfortable, reupholster with matching color), rebuild the center console, and throw a dash cover on the dash (the easiest of my tasks).

I have never tackled something like carpet/headliner replacement or seat reupholstering before. Is it a very involved process? or is it a fairly straight forward, "go find a youtube video and spend 5 minutes learning how to do it" job?

Also, will seats from newer body style blazers/s10s and the like fit in my truck? What about center consoles?

Thanks for any and all help ya'll.

EDIT: Looks like I'm going to do the sunfire seat swap...probably be easier to take them somewhere and have the upholstery redone to match the color I want.

I wouldn't think anything from the newer styles would fit except the seats, which you sound like you won't be using anyways. The 95 had a complete revamp of all styling, and the interior got yet another update in 98.
