First of all, I use to have a 2000 LT 4x4 Blazer 106K that was getting to many problems for me to handle any more, So I traded it for a 2003 LS 4x4 S-10 Pickup with only 48,000 miles on it, and yes I verify it with car fax. (A naked Brazer) lol..

Anyhow the defrost vent is broken (The one piece long one right below the windshield) and I want to replace I read the part here of how to take one out, but, how to put one back in...I have read on some sites about drilling new holes why the old doesn't have any?

Also the drivers side window works great but makes a knock noise going up but not down...any clues?

Well, Guess what turns out I don't need your alls help....Wouldn't have hurt if somebody would have reply either for the Defrost vent or the door...but oh well life is such...Anyhow for those that might have change out the Defrost Vent up close to windshield...Pop the old one out even if it comes in pieces and put the new one end and press down until you hear them snap in..I had one give a hard time so I went and pick up a small board and a rubber mallet, put the board on the area that needed some help poping in and hit it with medium strength and it should pop right in...No drilling like other sites I have seen try to say to do....And now you have a answer from this site on how to handle it...Now the drivers side window that pops when It goes down...need to figure that one out....like taking that door panel off should be as much fun as a barrel of monkeys....
