Door fire...Need some advice
Before I got my truck there was a small fire in the drivers side door. I havnt found the source of the problem yet but I know I have to re-wire the entire contents of everything that passes through that door becuase all the wires were fried. The fire melted a nice size chunk off the pannel. The guy didnt tell me how it happend or what the problem was, but the fuse for the interior lights and such is removed. Im guessing that there was some kind of short or he screwed something up when he put the currentsystem in. Anyways I need advice on tracing the problem, and I also need to know if anyone knows where I could get the drivers side interior door pannel on the cheap. I was thinking a local junk yard might have one but if anyone knows of a place online that would be great. I have grey interior. ALSO...Anybody know where I canget the mirror adjustment buttons and the windows toggle button? Any other suggestions or helpare greatly appreciated.
ok, well, im guessing this is for the 96 2dr from your other post. put your truck info in your signature and we wont have to hunt down what you are driving! lol

As far as the door panel and controls I would go to a local junkyard and pull them off of there. Otherwise ebay is pretty much the only other option for cheap, but then you have to pay for shipping.
