I have the same problem...mine is fairly bad too. I had it fixed once by moving the door latch pin, but the rattle/squeek came back. I've tried playing around with the pin location again but haven't been able to fix it again. It's driving me nuts too. I'm going to give it another shot tonight I think.

From the looks of it, you can actually move the latch mechanism in the door too, three screws (hopefully self tapping without nuts on the other side.) I'll do a quick fix tonight before going to get my girlfriend for supper and see if that fixes it... I'd be down to slight interior squeaks in extreme temperatures. I got rid of the squeak in the undercarriage by putting plastic hose protector around the emergency brake cable that rubs on the frame on the driver side.
