front plastic bumper

Default front plastic bumper

how do i remove the front plastic bumper on a 99 base model. its cracked in a few places. just wondering if there are a few pointers to taking it off

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the entire grille piece first. You have to start with the headlights (held in with 2 clips on the back). Then it should just snap right out (it's all held in with pressure clips). After the grille is off you should see the bolts holding the from bumper assemby on.

iam not 100% sure on the 99 models, but i dont think its much different then mine, i have a 98 and all there was, was plastic clips. I didnt take my grille off. Its hard to explain, on how to take it off, its not hard at all it took me 5min. There is clips on the inside of the bumber (both sides) You would have to pop those out, and then go along the bumber with a flat head screw driver and pop it off. And thats it. I can get pictures of how to take it off, if you want me to do that. just let me know.

nevermind on the pics. it was alot easier than i thought. it took me pretty much five minutes
