One problem though, I got everything back together with no hassle besides the keyguard rubber thingy. I can't seem to get it to go back on. But everything else is awesome lol

It's harder to get on than it is to get off.

Definitely lol. I'll get it on hopefully tomorrow. There wasn't enough light outside for me to play with it to get it back on. Sometimes I wish I had a garage to work until I want lol.

This is starting to make sense now. So my friend has a 95 s10 and he was trying to get rid of his abs light by simply removing the bulb. Well he coudlnt get the bulb out and while he was pulling on it, it snapped in his hand and glass went all through his interior! hahahah so does this mean mine are spot welded in? Mine does have a tach.

Most likely, they are probably the same bulb.

If they don't come out like the map lights do, then yes they are spot wielded in. So you have to buy new sockets.

Option 1 is go to any auto parts store such as advance, o'reily's, or autozone and find 1/2 inch instrument panel sockets. They should be about $2 or $2.50 a piece.

Option 2 is to go to a junk yard and get sockets off a ford's gauge cluster.

I chose option 1 because they are brand new sockets and have nothing wrong with them.
