Thanks, I posted the bulb size earlier & I've never had the HID's in anythikng but projectors. If you put HID bulbs in regular housings all you'll get is a short splash of light & many people P O'ed with you at night. With the HID's in projectors I can see any reflective sign at least 1/2 mile ahead of me at night not to mention eyes (deer etc). You should read up about them in oktains post that has the link to hidplanet. They have a link in there near the bottom HID for newbs or something like that & it's really informative.

<edit> ok maybe not 1/2 mile, thats 2640' maybe 1/4 of a mile?! They still light up a lot more than the stock lights & are a focused beam with a cut-off & fairly wide into the ditches etc closer to the truck.
