Default Retrofit Projectors in 2nd gen Headlights

I've been wanting to do this. I am not a fan of the aftermarket projector housings. I wanted to make something that looked a little more stock... so I got bored and put these lil bastards together tonight. Spent about 3 hours on it. What do you think?

looks good, but the cut off and light distribution with the lens being like that is going to be less than par, but it will be better.
Optimal would be with a clear lens.

Mini H1s with mini gatling gun shrouds?

You could sand and polish the low beam section of your fluted lens to make it clear. It might suck, but you could do it.

I agree the fluted lens being designed to spread the light of a halogen bulb is gonna ruin the pattern of the hids.

Actually its not bad at all! Just not a crisp cut off line. That's about it. They look great though! Plus at first glance look completely stock which is what I wanted. Gotta get a pic with them on the truck.... That plus I cleaned them up really well and shot them with some PPG Deltron clear to protect them.
