Help! Looking for top tailgate gasket ( where the top window closes for 1998 blazer
Some helpful sand at the lumberyard rip my top tailgate gasket when loading a piece of carpet. I stopped at the dealer but they said they don’t stock it anymore. And I can’t find it anywhere on the web. Any help? It is the gasket on top of the tailgate with two flat flanges on either side it helps seal the air right when the window Clothes on top of it. Thanks advance
Depending on whether you have the full liftgate (everything goes up) or the endgate (tailgate drops & glass lifts up) arrangement, both gasket sets should be identified on pages 26 & 27 of the LMC Truck catalog for the S-series SUVs --> CLICK HERE for a direct link.
Given that you mention the top window closing, I'm assuming you have the endgate arrangement and you're talking about the gasket on the top of the tailgate --> item #6 on page #27 which is part number 29-7667 and sells for $14.95.
