I want to install a overhead console in my 94 4dr and was wondering how i take the roofcarpet off to run wires. also does anyone know if there are brackets already or do i have to make them/

 

ok so i removed the headliner and found a T shaped hole with 3 holes in front of it, directly in front of my rear view mirror. does this mean my blazer can have a overhead console installed? (the console is the long one with 4 round light temp/compass)

 

If you removed the whole headliner you went way to far, lol. all you need to do is pull down the front a bit. anyways to install the console you will need the clips that go in the holes then u will need a console and a utility knife. you will need to get a new harness from a JY it unhooks behind the dash, the new harness just has all the wires and goes across the front of the windshield as oposed to halfway across the top like the dome only harness. if you search here and s10 forum you will find all the info u need. i know, i have already done this mod! hope it helps!

 

lol i didnt remove the whole thing just the front, and i belive the console comes with the harness and clips, im buying off someone on here. Anyway any links on how to wire this and install would be great, i have very basic wiring expierence

 

Lol, i just told you how to wire it! get the correct harness, unplug the old one and plug in the new one behind the dash!
