Default Junkyard power seats

Ok so I found some seats that I want at the boneyard. The problem is that they are power seats that have been adjusted all the way back so the rear bolts are covered up to where I can't get to them. So my question is what do I need to run power through to make the seat move? Does the signal have to run through the BCM for them to work or can I just probe the harness directly under the seat?

You should be able to hook power up to the harness and go, I believe I remember blazer red mentioning that when I was looking for my heated seats, ran into the same problem. Luckily the yard I went to allowed me to bring in a battery, so I didn't have to do that...

You can use a 14v cordless tool battery. No need to lug in a car battery.
