Hey guys, I just picked up a used luggage rack and I want to install it on the top of my 97 blazer. I was wondering what the best way to do it is. I know i have to to drop the headliner. I am assuming that I will have to use some kind of silicone caulking also? Is there a specific place where I have to put it. Somewhere where the roof is reinforced? I figured i would just measure where they are bolting on someone elses blazer that already has one. I figure I can measure his and put mine in the exact same spot. His blazer is only a year newer than mine. Anyone have any tips or tricks that make it eaiser. Or any warning that i should be made aware of?

 

From what I have read, apparently there are braces along the roof, with welded in nuts or somehing to show where the rack goes.
