I think Eurogold took his off. You need a t15 bit (or whatever it is, maybe its a t27) and you remove the screws, and then you need to seal the holes with silicone sealent. You could get someone to weld covers on the holes which would look much better. But that may also be more expensive.

All it is is a 25Torx bit and there are 8 screws. The screws may be a little aggravating to get out. When you take it off and intent to leave it off, Id seal the screws with PVC tape or silicone as Speed said. I'm intending to send my bolts off to get the heads chromed, but I have not given it much thought. I was also thinkin of buying a spoiler that will mount on the existing bolts, but that idea died. Look too ethnic.
Also (as rabbit said) when you take it off you will have to spot in the lines around where it set with some touchup to make it look good. Id leave the bolts there unless you really don't want it back on there.

EuroGoldLS, can you please take some pictures of your roof? I really want to see what it looks like the way you did it. Thanks.

Oh I have not done anything to it except take it off and seal the bolts. I'm planning to spot the lines in and chrome the bolts. Ill try to get some pictures soon.
