Need advice on replacing rear windows

I've had to replace both of my rear windows at different times. They came with all the plastic stuff attached. I don't believe the plastic trim is available separately. Fortunately for me, I'm much more concerned with function than looks, so junkyard windows worked fine for me. I have a friend who does auto glass, so he installed them for me.

I'm not sure about the 2 door(xtreme), but I know the 4 doors can be taken off...

I would try pulling one off a 2 door at a scrap yard to see if it is attached to the glass with tape, glue, or clips of such...

That way it doesn't effect your ride lol

You are right about the heat. My Blazer has been garaged every day since about a month after I made this post in 2013, especially after I got a house not long after too. I dont really have to worry about this anymore. Windows or the plastic dont need to be replaced they are still in the same shape they were when I made this post in 2013. No more leaks or anything since then. I Love my Blazer
